Morgan’s Lookout.
The perfect picnic destination!
Take in the breathtaking views from the top of the Lookout. Follow the gravel track to the top of the hill and experience 360 degree views 7 days a week. Although named after notorious bushranger Dan Morgan, who used this lookout as a hide-out in the 1860s, these rocks have a much deeper story to tell for the Wiradjuri people. Described as a ‘Meeting Place’ for teaching and ceremony by Wiradjuri Elders it still has a similar meaning today. Nestled in the heart of Walla Park, surrounded by farming land, we invite you to discover the living culture around you and share in the experience of Walla Park.
